Bonny and I had the distinct pleasure of welcoming 12 of our friends to our lovely new world.  My only regret is that I didn’t have more time to spend with them while they were here.  As you can imagine, 12 is a rather large group of people to try and orchestrate.  All in all I think everyone had a good time and got to see lots of cool stuff here on the Big Island.  One week is rather short, just enough time to barely scratch the surface of this place but they managed to see and do a variety of things all over the island.   It was very hard for Bonny and myself to go to work while they were here and we definitely got a little home sick when they left.  Our visitors elected to rent a house about 40 minutes from the house, next time we will have a house for everyone to stay in so you can save your money for other things.  I’m going to post the pictures I have in no particular order.  Apparently I didn’t get any photos with Matt, Christi or the kids, so my apologies.  Please forward them to me on my cell phone and I will get them uploaded.  We love you all very much and it was so good to see everyone.   We can’t thank you enough for planning your vacation around us, it really means a lot to both of us and we can’t wait to do it again (well maybe my liver can).  Everyone needs to remember that one week really isn’t long enough to see and do everything this island has to offer, so please, future visitors, plan on staying a little longer.  2 days of your trip is spent traveling so factor that in as well.  And please remember that nothing is cheap in Hawaii so bring lots of money to spend.  It doesn’t go far and this place seems to have a way of making it disappear.  Luckily we can off set the cost of room and board as I mentioned before.  We are both very thankful to have such wonderful caring friends and family.  Please note that several friends have made it over, but no family yet.  Whats the deal with that?
