We are on our way to the Makuu’ Market, getting excited about purchasing local produce, from tomatoes to mangos… To local made breads and jellies! My Grandma Jennine Hennessey (aka Gramma Jeline) sent us some Christmas cash and we both agreed we should spend a good chunk at our favorite market. Wish you could be here to spoil us in person grandma, thank you so much. The Makuu’ Market (open on Sunday) is always a great place to find a vast assortment of local fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and various food and merchandise vendors. It is especially large on the first Sunday of the month! Time to go find some goodies 🙂

Thank you again Grandma, we love and miss you!
Here’s a few items we picked up today.  Love this ingredient list : )
Sea Turtle mason jar/ pin cushion
I can’t wait to see this on my nephew McCoy, great find!

Treated ourselves to a delicious Crepe, local blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. I love crepes.
On our way home from the market. Good view of Mt. Mauna Kea today. Mauna Kea is about a million years old, it is significantly taller than Mt. Everest, and with its high altitude, dry environment, and stable airflow, It is one of the best sites in the world for astrological  observation.
Getting closer to home, got one more shot of the mountain… We will explore it someday soon and post closer pictures.
